Installing FreeBSD on an IBM ThinkPad T21
Prelude
This document details the installation of FreeBSD on an IBM ThinkPad T21. There is not much here as the installation went quite smoothly. As I find out more, I'll add notes here.
Installation - General
I have already detailed the setup of a basic FreeBSD laptop here, but there are a few things specific to the ThinkPad T21 that I detail in the next section.
Installation - Specific
The X-Windows install with FreeBSD 6.0 doesn't give the correct resolution on the ThinkPad T21 by default. I followed the instructions from the FreeBSD Handbook to get the monitor working correctly.
